A “look” is defined as one outfit, hairstyle, makeup look.
I would highly suggest bringing multiple options for clothing. For Headshots, I recommend a variation of comfortable and fun clothing.
Bring a wide variety of colors. Don’t be seasonal. Dress shirts, t-shirts, long sleeves or even hoodies or jackets will work well. Textures and layers are also a good look, though I would avoid crazy patterns.
The key is to have fun while shooting. If you’re uptight, then those viewing your images will sense that so it’s important to feel comfortable! If you feel like you don’t have a stylish enough wardrobe, go shopping but leave the tags on it and return the items you don’t want after we’re done!
MAKEUP
Makeup can make or break a shoot. Now most of the time, doing one’s own makeup is sufficient, however there are times where a professional makeup artist is a must. Remember, these images are forever and you’re the one in them!
I have several makeup artists that I work with that can help or assist prior to our shoot.

HAIR
Be sure to come with your hair styled exactly how you want it for the shoot. Hair is as much a part of your personality as you are so you want to feel natural, yet beautiful! Feel free to bring whatever products you need.
My makeup artist also specializes in hair as well and can accomodate you should you need to.
RETOUCHING
$20 per image
I’m not a huge fan of retouching images aside from removing unwanted people from the backgrounds or that unexpected pimple that decided to show up on the day of the shoot. It’s important to realize that we keep some flaws in your images to show that you are a real person and not a plastic model on the cover of Vogue.
That being said, there are areas that retouching can help to enhance the “mood” or “feel” of an image without taking away from the “au natural” look that I strive to go for.
LOCATION
I am located in Lawndale but I’m open to shooting anywhere in Los Angeles. That being said, if you’re simply doing headshots, location doesn’t really matter a ton as the background will be out of focus anyway. Of course that background does help to accentuate your image so I’m very selective of your background.
EQUIPMENT
I shoot with a Canon 5D mk3 with some of the best portrait lenses available which allow for bright, crisp and sharp images. I also have complete lighting systems to help create the appropriate lighting for your images.
RETURNING CLIENTS
Once we’ve worked together, I do offer a substantial discount when returning for more pictures. I stand behind my work, and the best referrals are by my clients themselves.
BOOKING/PAYMENT
No deposit is required at this time to book a shoot. However, payment for the session must be paid in full prior to the release of any imagery.
